Job summary

Unity Environmental University is seeking a Career Edge Learning Designer to develop and maintain the Career Edge program, working with SMEs and administrators to create engaging, STEM-focused online courses.

You will apply instructional design theories, analyze student data to improve courses, and lead trainings while ensuring accessibility and alignment with outcomes, collaborating with AI/XR teams and the Career Edge Creative Media Developer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• Experience designing online courses and curricula for higher education or similar.
• Strong research, content analysis, and content preparation skills.
• Proven ability to work with SMEs and instructional designers to develop engaging learning experiences.
• Familiarity with Canvas or comparable LMS and Adobe Creative Cloud tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality, innovative online courses with faculty.
• Serve as expert resource for LMS and related tools.
• Apply appropriate learning theories to course design and implementations.
• Develop media-rich, accessible learning experiences with creative media developers.
• Lead trainings on online instructor and student support materials and tutorials.
