Job summary

Mechanics Bank is seeking a Learning Experience Developer to design and deliver engaging digital and blended learning solutions for employees, on-site in California. You will develop e-learning, videos, microlearning, and instructor-led content using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Vyond, WalkMe, and Workday Learning, aligning with business goals and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

4 Year Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design or Technology, Education Technology, Curriculum and Instruction, Human Performance Technology/Improvement, or equivalent required.
3 years minimum of Experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Instructional Design or Learning Technology specific certifications from ATD or equivalent beneficial but not required.
Certifications in Microsoft, Adobe, and/or Learning Content Development software beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

Develops interactive eLearning courses using adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.
Incorporates multimedia elements to enhance learner engagement.
Designs learning solutions to support performance needs under administrative direction.
Develops learning materials including microlearnings, video demonstrations, reference tools, job aids, quick reference guides, electronic performance support, and evaluation instruments.
Develops instructor-led training content including facilitator guides, participant guides, training decks, and learning activities.
Collaborates with other developers and instructional designers on comprehensive curriculums.
Develops compliance eLearnings meeting regulatory requirements.
Facilitates pilots and train-the-trainer sessions as needed.
Develops storyboards, scripts, and course prototypes.
Constructs feedback instruments to evaluate results and measure success.
Regularly reviews and updates training materials to keep them current.
Evaluates training effectiveness using learner feedback and performance data.
