Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a Learning Excellence Specialist in Rockville, MD to assess and develop employee skills and performance. You will partner with corporate learning, site leadership and quality to align training with GMP policies and site goals.

The role requires designing objectives, selecting curricula, managing the LMS and evaluating training effectiveness through metrics and feedback. This is a GMP-focused role supporting audits and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Learning, Education, Human Resources or related field.
• Three+ years of experience in learning solutions across modalities; cGMP lab/pharma/biotech training a plus.
• Three years of managing Learning departments including design, delivery and LMS administration.

Responsibilities

• Assess employee skills, performance, productivity and talents at the Rockville site.
• Define applicable learning objectives and assign training curriculum with SME input.
• Evaluate learning initiatives via metrics and performance data and suggest improvements.
• Maintain training records in compliance with GMP and CRL practices and policies.
• Align training with site and business goals and optimize processes for efficiency.
• Support client and regulatory audits and manage external training vendors.
• Oversee the LMS used for training and foster a culture of continuous learning.

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Learning Excellence Specialist for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Rockville, MD. Details of the position are as follows:

Job Details:

• Pay: $29.50/hr to Start!!
• 4-month assignment, possibility extension based upon performance and budget.
• The Learning Excellence Specialist is responsible for assessing the skills, performance, productivity, and talents of employees in the Rockville site. Will partner with Corporate Learning, Site Leadership and Quality to ensure strategy and execution are in accordance with Corporate and Site policies and goals as well as compliance with GMP requirements.
• Consult with Site Management and Subject Matter Experts to define applicable learning objectives and assign appropriate training curriculum and course content.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives through metrics, feedback, and performance data, and implement recommendations for continuous improvement to training.
• Ensure all training is documented and training records are maintained according to GMP and CRL practices and policies.
• Ensure strategic alignment of the training department with business goals.
• Optimize training processes for efficiency.
• Support client and regulatory audits.
• Manage vendors that provide training material or conduct training.
• Manage the LMS used for training.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development throughout the organization, encouraging employees at all levels to take ownership of their growth and development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (B.A./BS.) required in Learning, Education, Human Resources or a related field.
• Three plus years related experience in learning solutions in different modalities; specific experience in a cGMP laboratory facility (pharmaceutical or biotech) training environment a plus.
• Three years of experience in managing Learning departments that include design, delivery and LMS administration, preferred.
