Job summary

Lexicon is seeking a Training and Development Specialist to support Lexicon University by coordinating learning programs, maintaining systems, and supporting apprenticeships and internships. You will monitor program effectiveness and help improve the learner experience across trades, leadership, and professional development.

This role partners with Training and Development leadership, business leaders, instructors, and employees to coordinate learning experiences, gather feedback, and recommend

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating projects, programs, events, or initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Experience maintaining records, tracking data, preparing reports, or supporting business operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication with employees, leaders, instructors, and partners.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Maintain training schedules, rosters, attendance, completions, and records.
• Track participation across trades, leadership, and professional development offerings.
• Manage course enrollments and learner communications.
• Keep training materials, participant guides, and job aids current and accessible.
• Coordinate apprenticeship and trades internship administration, including records and hours.
• Monitor participant progress, feedback, and retention risks; suggest improvements.
• Analyze learning data and develop reports and dashboards to support decisions.
• Maintain digital content and learning technologies; update resources as needed.
• Promote learning opportunities and communications through LexComm, SharePoint, and newsletters.
• Support grant writing and compliance reporting related to learning programs.
