Job summary

Craftwork is seeking a Head of Learning & Development to build a scalable training and development function as we expand into new markets and grow the field organization.

You will create systems that define excellence, develop required skills, and provide clear growth paths. The role includes designing an apprenticeship pathway, partnering with the Technical Training lead, and embedding learning into our software to drive quality and retention.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of adult-learning principles, instructional design, facilitation, assessment, and program measurement.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement company-wide L&D strategy aligned with operating plan and expansion.
• Design onboarding programs to enable productive new hires quickly and consistently.
• Create skills, standards, certifications, and assessments to verify proficiency for independent work.
• Create a central, maintainable curriculum repository with procedures and role expectations.
• Design and launch apprenticeship pathways for candidates without painting experience.
• Integrate the learning experience into Craftwork’s proprietary software and measure impact.
