About The Team

The Talent Development (TD) team at Stitch Fix is responsible for providing employees with a holistic development experience, inclusive of key learning and growth moments within the employee lifecycle. The team supports learning experiences for the diverse range of Stitch Fix employee populations including warehouse associates, data scientists, merchants, marketers, stylists, executives, and more. The TD team facilitates employee onboarding, manager enablement, functional training, talent processes and leadership development programs. The team collaborates with leaders across Stitch Fix to design human-centered, engaging learning experiences that embody the Company core values and drive our business forward.

About The Role

The Learning & Development Manager will lead the design, implementation, and scaling of impactful learning programs that empower employee growth and support business goals. This role will lead initiatives across onboarding, employee development, skills training, and continuous learning, partnering closely with business leaders to embed learning into the employee experience. The ideal candidate brings a mix of program design, project management, facilitation skills, and a passion for developing talent. This position will report directly to the Head of Talent Development.

  • Develop and deliver learning strategies that align with business needs and company culture.
  • Design new and revise existing programs for leadership development, onboarding, and upskilling based on unique skills needed for each part of the business and to meet targeted learning objectives.
  • Evaluate learning effectiveness and adapt programs based on feedback and data.
  • Partner with subject matter experts and people managers to facilitate relevant and scalable content across the organization.
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning across the organization.
  • Develop strong cross-functional partnerships to provide strategic learning and development solutions that effectively drive enterprise consistency, while incorporating local differentiation where needed.

We’re Excited About You Because…

  • You have 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development or a related field.
  • You bring strong program design and program management skills with an emphasis on learning technologies, virtual and e-learning modalities.
  • You possess exceptional communication and facilitation abilities.
  • You have experience working with employees across a wide diversity of backgrounds such as hourly warehouse, retail, corporate, and technical roles.
  • You understand best practices of working with external learning vendors, buy vs. build decision making, and the fundamentals of measuring success of programs.
  • You are proficient in Learning Management Systems (LMS), assessments, and survey tools.
  • You build strong relationships with partners and can expertly navigate through stakeholder discussions to successful outcomes.
  • You are able to analyze trends in multiple sets of data and create overall recommendations that incorporate qualitative and quantitative information from a variety of sources.
  • You have the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and employees.
  • You utilize an employee-centric and inclusive lens in your approach to L&D programs.

Compensation And Benefits

This role will receive a competitive salary, benefits, and equity. The salary for US-based employees hired into this role will be aligned with the range below, which includes our three geographic areas. A variety of factors are considered when determining someone’s compensation–including a candidate’s professional background, experience, location, and performance.This position is eligible for new hire and ongoing grants of restricted stock units depending on employee and company performance. In addition, the position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and other benefits. Applicants should apply via our internal or external careers site.

Salary Range

$117,600—$173,000 USD
