Job summary

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Department of Developmental Services (DDS), in Boston, is hiring a Training Technician III to support statewide staff development. Qualifications

• Four years of full-time or equivalent part-time professional experience in teaching, instructing or training with major duty in educational or employee training programs, including a year in a supervisory capacity.
• Education substitutions allowed per guidelines: Bachelor/Graduate degree in education may substitute for portions of the experience.
• Experience deploying enterprise systems and creating training content aligned to job outcomes.
• Ability to analyze training data to inform curriculum decisions and evaluate effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Administer the LMS including user provisioning and reporting.
• Oversee Constant Contact licenses and access.
• Develop training content for core platforms (SharePoint, Teams, HR systems).
• Maintain content libraries and version control.
• Design training materials using performance consulting methods.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and deliver outcomes.
