Job summary

Pixelle Specialty Solutions seeks an experienced Learning and Development Manager to identify and shape training needs across the mill. You will develop training matrices, ensure consistent methods, and lead LMS-driven programs for onboarding and ongoing development.

You will supervise training staff, mentor trainers, and coordinate with SMEs and content creators to produce effective materials. Strong leadership, communication, and project management are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated track record in developing others and designing training programs.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to plan, manage projects, time and budgets effectively.
• Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training materials.
• Experience using learning management systems (LMS) and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess current and future training needs through job analysis and performance appraisals.
• Develop training matrices to align design with skill needs and staffing.
• Ensure consistent training methods across the mill.
• Conduct training including technical training within skills and abilities.
• Own LMS implementation, administration, and usage for operational training.
• Supervise training coordinators and mentor a trainer program.
• Provide direction to SMEs, content writers, and training resources.
• Oversee new hire onboarding and coordinate performance evaluations with supervisor.
• Coordinate verification to ensure knowledge transfer is effective.
