Job summary

East House Corporation in Rochester, NY, is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to coordinate, deliver, and improve employee learning programs across programs and departments. The role focuses on LMS administration, new employee orientation, and mandatory training compliance to support regulatory readiness and high-quality client care.

You will work closely with program leaders, human resources, and subject matter experts, creating engaging curricula and ensuring the organization

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Education, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Social Work, Psychology, or related field; 2–3 years in Learning & Development or related HR/behavioral health field; experience facilitating classroom, virtual, and hybrid learning; LMS administration experience; strong presentation and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Owns and continuously improves New Employee Orientation (NEO) program; coordinates onboarding across departments.
• Facilitates instructor-led training across clinical, residential, administrative, and support departments; delivers mandatory compliance training.
• Serves as primary administrator for the Learning Management System (Relias or other); monitors compliance and maintains training records.
• Monitors regulatory training requirements and assists with audits and accreditation reviews.
• Collaborates cross-functionally with HR, Quality & Compliance, program leadership, and external training partners.
• Evaluates training effectiveness and recommends curriculum improvements.
