Job summary

GBH invites driven students to join our Learning & Workforce Development team as an intern. This hybrid role supports employee learning, instructional design, and HR initiatives within a leading public media organization.

Interns gain hands-on experience across training design, communications, data analysis, and program management. You'll work with HR professionals and leaders, contributing to materials, events, LMS tasks, and engagement projects.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Interest in employee development, learning, training, or human resources.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort working independently while also collaborating with a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and updating training materials, presentations, job aids, and e-learning content.
• Design engaging communications and promotional materials for employee learning programs.
• Support the planning and delivery of virtual and in-person learning events and workshops.
• Help manage GBH's Learning Management System (LMS), including course administration, participant communications, and reporting.
• Track participation and learning metrics to help measure program effectiveness.
• Gather and analyze employee feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with HR team members and business leaders on special projects related to employee development and engagement.
