Job summary

Texas Family Care Network seeks a Director of Training to shape organization-wide training and employee development programs, including curriculum design and leadership development. The role leads a team of L&D professionals and manages the department budget.

The candidate will collaborate across departments to implement state/program-specific courses, ensure consistency, and measure training outcomes through multi-level evaluation from participant satisfaction to child-related outcomes.

Qualifications

• Requires master’s degree in Adult Education, Training & Organization Development, Human Resources, Public Administration, or related field.
• Requires five years of curriculum development, training, and organization/human resource development.
• Requires two years of supervisory experience overseeing a training team.
• Requires valid state driver’s license, safe driving record, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
• Clearances: DPS, DFPS, FBI, CBCU Eligibility Determination, and Child Abuse Clearances.

Responsibilities

• Develop training curriculum for the organization aligned with philosophy, models, and standards.
• Use diverse teaching methods to meet varied employee learning styles.
• Lead LMS management and deliver leadership training and succession planning activities.
• Provide supervision and performance feedback to staff and supervisees.
• Collaborate with leaders to ensure training requirements align with program needs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation mandates for training programs.
• Track and report training productivity/utilization and outcomes.
• Budget monitoring for the training department and travel/expense approvals.
