Job summary

Axelon Services Corporation seeks an experienced trainer to facilitate instructor-led and blended learning programs in Boston, MA. You will design learner-centered materials and deliver engaging sessions in both in-person and virtual settings, including leadership development and DEIB topics.

The role requires strong facilitation, design expertise, and the ability to manage multiple programs while maintaining records and utilizing LMS tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience facilitating instructor-led training.
• Experience designing and developing instructor-led and blended learning solutions.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Exceptional facilitation, presentation, and public speaking skills.
• Experience facilitating discussions related to DEIB and other sensitive workplace topics.
• Experience delivering management and leadership development programs.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage employees at all organizational levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and virtual platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate instructor-led training programs in both in-person and virtual environments using established curricula and learning materials.
• Facilitate learning experiences focused on leadership development, communication, emotional intelligence, team effectiveness, change management, conflict resolution, performance management, and inclusive workplace practices.
• Foster an engaging, psychologically safe learning environment that encourages participation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
• Skillfully manage group dynamics and respond thoughtfully to challenging questions and sensitive discussions.
• Design and develop learner-centered training materials, including facilitator guides, participant workbooks, presentations, job aids, and supporting resources.
• Apply adult learning principles and established instructional design methodologies to create effective learning experiences.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather content, validate technical accuracy, and develop relevant instructional materials.
• Evaluate participant feedback and learning metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Provide observations and recommendations to program leaders regarding participant engagement and training effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate attendance, evaluation, and training records.

• Experience facilitating discussions related to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) and other sensitive workplace topics.
• Experience delivering management and leadership development programs.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage employees at all organizational levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and virtual learning platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience coaching, consulting with, or supporting leaders at all organizational levels to strengthen leadership effectiveness.
• Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and learning analytics.
• Experience evaluating learning outcomes and using data to improve training programs.
• Experience with Articulate Storyline 360 a plus.
