Houstonoaks is seeking an experienced Training Specialist to design and develop engaging instructional materials, including e-learning modules and videos, aligned with organizational goals. You will collaborate with SMEs to build curricula across departments and deliver sessions in person or virtually.

The role emphasizes creating accessible content, maintaining LMS systems, and evaluating training effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and update training materials and e-learning modules.
• Perform needs assessments to identify knowledge gaps.
• Collaborate with SMEs to gather content and ensure accuracy.
• Utilize ADDIE/SAM models to create engaging learning experiences.
• Develop learning objectives aligned with goals.
• Incorporate multimedia elements and assessments.
• Assist in delivering training in classroom and virtual settings.
• Administer LMS functions: course creation, enrollment, tracking, reporting.
• Generate reports to evaluate training effectiveness and identify improvements.
• Provide feedback and coaching to learners.
• Monitor engagement and adjust delivery as needed.
• Ensure accessibility and diverse learning needs are accommodated.
• Pilot-test materials and iterate based on feedback.
• Engage stakeholders to align training with organizational priorities.
• Maintain high-quality standards in training content and delivery.
