Job summary

Axelon Services Corporation is seeking a Learning Design and Development Senior Analyst for a fully remote contract opportunity with a global financial firm. You will design and develop training programs, build eLearning media using tools like Storyline, and collaborate with SMEs to assess needs and craft effective solutions.

Responsibilities include needs analysis, storyboard creation, facilitator guides, and measurement strategies to gauge training impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience in eLearning, Instructional Design, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Instructional Design, eLearning, multimedia, or website development.
• Experience with content authoring tools such as Storyline, Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud, Camtasia, SnagIt.
• Knowledge of LMS systems and creating compliant content for LMS deployment.
• Experience in Web-based Training creation and media such as audio, video, animations, and graphics.
• Understanding of adult learning principles, assessment, and task analysis.
• Experience delivering instructional design across modalities (in person, hybrid, online).

• Design and develop data collection tools to measure training impact.
• Build engaging interfaces and provide direction on interactivity and branding.
• Review media for LMS deployment and quality.
• Research industry best practices in learning and apply in instructional solutions.

Global Financial Firm located in Fully-Remote has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Learning Design and Development Senior Analyst

Pay Rate: $39.00 - $41.00 per hour, negotiable based upon years of experience

Work Mode: 100% Remote Opportunity

Responsibilities

• Develop training programs and learning materials using various learning methodologies for classroom, self-directed, and web-based delivery mediums, integrating adult learning theory and creativity.
• Determine and develop appropriate training solutions for assigned projects based on business needs, performance goals, and audience analysis.
• Create, deploy, and maintain eLearning media using tools such as Storyline, including WBTs, simulations, scenario and game-based learning, audio, video, websites, and additional media as needed.
• Participate in the program design process by conducting needs assessments, task analysis, researching knowledge tasks, working with subject matter experts, and creating supporting design documents, including storyboards and mock-ups.
• Develop end-user classroom materials, facilitator guides, assessments, and supporting documentation.
• Create a measurement strategy for client solutions, including the overall assessment approach.
• Design and develop data collection tools and methods to measure the impact of training.
• Build engaging, impactful user interfaces, prototypes, and graphic design elements for websites and eLearning media; provide creative direction on interactivity, imagery, and branding.
• Review and test internal, vendor-created, and other media for use within the organization and/or deployment via LMS systems.
• Research current industry best practices in learning and eLearning and apply them in instructional solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience in eLearning, Instructional Design, or a related field and/or eLearning Technical Certifications.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Instructional Design, eLearning, multimedia, or website development.
• Experience with content authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline 3, Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud applications, Camtasia, and SnagIt.
• Knowledge of LMS systems and creating compliant content that functions within an LMS.
• Experience in Web-based Training (WBT) creation and media creation such as audio, video, custom animations/interactions, and custom graphics.
• Understanding of adult learning principles, assessment, needs analysis, and job task analysis.
• Experience providing instructional design across modalities (face-to-face, hybrid, and online courses).
