Job summary

Kelly is seeking a Learning Design & Development Analyst for a remote, 7-month contract with a leading global bank. The role focuses on instructional design, multimedia content, and LMS-enabled training across in-person, hybrid, and online modalities.

You will design, develop, and evaluate training using Storyline, Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud, Camtasia, and related tools. You will collaborate with HR, Learning & Development, and business partners to ensure effective learner outcomes,

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Instructional Design/e Learning/multi-media/website development
• Must have Branch banking experience
• Experience with eLearning tools and certifications acceptable
• Content authoring tools experience including Articulate Storyline/360, Adobe apps, Camtasia, SnagIt

Responsibilities

• Consult with partners to design and develop effective training
• Apply adult learning theories to diverse modalities (in-person, hybrid, online)
• Develop training programs and materials for classroom, self-directed and web-based delivery
• Create WBTs, simulations, scenarios, and media using Storyline and other tools
• Build engaging user interfaces and visuals for learning content
• Review media for LMS deployment and ensure accessibility and compliance
• Measure training impact with data collection and evaluation methods

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of Instructional Design/e Learning/multi-media/website development
• Must have Branch banking experience
• Comparable experience in e Learning, Instructional Design, or a related field and/or eLearning Technical Certifications from certified institutions and experience.
• Experience with the following content authoring tools: Articulate Story line 3, Articulate 360, Adobe, Articulate Studio, Camtasia, SnagIt, and Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Premier Pro, After Effects, and Audition
• Experience providing instructional design across modalities (i.e. face-to-face, hybrid and online courses)
• Experience design - knowledge and experience in creating user interfaces that facilitates the best learning experience
• Visual design - knowledge and experience in how to craft the visual experience that works best with course content
• Knowledge of LMS systems, and creating compliant content that functions within an LMS
• Knowledge of Web-based Training (WBT) creation, along with creation of media such as audio, video, custom animations/interactions, custom graphics, etc.
• Instructional design - knowledge of adult learning principles, assessment, needs analysis, job task analysis
• Adult Education in a financial services and/or corporate setting
• Ability to establish and/or build trust with teams, colleagues, and leaders
• Effective written and verbal communication skills

• Support the intake of new learning request through consulting and needs analysis as well as implementation of final product (including building and influencing key relationships across HR, L&D and the business); measure business outcomes.
• Supporting design and development of training solutions using a variety of learning tools and modalities in partnership with business and learning partners
• Observing and/or facilitating created curricula in both classroom and virtual environments and collaborating with key partners to ensure learner success

What You Will Be Doing

• Use hands-on skills to consult and collaborate with other Learning Design and Development Senior Analysts, Learning Advisors, Business Partners, Subject Matter Experts, Trainers, and project teams to design and develop effective and engaging training.
• Will apply adult learning theories and Instructional Design methodology to create interactive training solutions using a variety of learning modalities, (mobile learning, web-based training, social learning, adaptive learning, self-directed learning, virtual and in-class facilitation, job aids and other training materials).
• Develops training programs and learning materials using a variety of learning methodologies designed for classroom, self-directed and web-based delivery mediums; integrating adult learning theory and creativity into all design elements for the creation of an interactive and effective learning experience.
• Determines and develops appropriate training solutions for assigned projects, based on the outcome of analyzing business needs, performance goals, and audience.
• Create, deploy, and maintain e Learning media using tools such as Storyline, including: WBTs, Simulations, Scenario and game-based learning, Audio, Video, Websites, and additional media, as needed.
• Participates in the program design process by conducting: needs assessments; task analysis; research of knowledge tasks; working with subject matter experts to validate content; and the creation of supporting design documents including story boards and mock-ups. Development includes: constructing end-user classroom materials, facilitator guides, assessments, and writing supporting documentation
• Creates measurement strategy for client solutions to include the overall assessment approach.
• Designs and develops data collection tools and methods to measure the impact of training.
• Creates, deploys, and maintain e Learning media including: WBTs, Simulations, Scenario and game-based learning, Audio, Video, and additional media, as needed
• Build engaging, impactful user interfaces, prototypes, and graphic design elements for use within websites and eLearning media; provide creative direction on interactivity, imagery and branding
• Review and test internal, vendor created, and other media for use within the organization, and/or deployment via LMS systems
• Researches current industry best practices in learning as well as eLearning and applies in instructional solutions
