Job summary

Methodist Health System is seeking a Learning Content Designer to develop high-quality training for e-learning and instructor-led delivery. You will storyboard, create visuals, and collaborate with leaders to align content with organizational needs.

The role requires 3+ years in instructional design, proficiency with tools like Articulate and Captivate, and experience in healthcare settings. Normal hours are 8:00AM-5:00PM, Monday through Friday, in Dallas, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Instructional Design, Adult Learning, E-learning, HRD, I/O Psychology or related field.
• Instructional design certifications preferred (ATD or similar).
• 3+ years applying instructional design principles for both synchronous and asynchronous training.
• Experience with authoring tools such as Articulate, Captivate, Vyond.
• Healthcare environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scoping and needs analysis for instructional design projects with defined timelines and deliverables.
• Develop best-in-class instructor-led training, e-learning, and virtual classes in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Coach, mentor, and review teammates to ensure content integrity and explore new tools and approaches.
• Estimate resource time and manage project plans; renegotiate deadlines as needed.
• Communicate effectively with business partners and project leaders throughout the cycle.
• Design and implement measurement techniques to assess learning impact on business results.
