Job summary

Tarrant County College is seeking a part-time Specialist II, Learning Commons at Southeast Campus. You will deliver front-line customer service to students, employees, and the public, and cross-train across library, learning lab, and tutoring duties.

Responsibilities include scheduling, calendar management, and assisting with technology, equipment, and instructional support. The role requires flexibility and a maximum of 19.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 60 college hours with one year of related experience.
• Preferred: college education beyond minimum requirements and tutoring/ESOL exposure.

Responsibilities

• Provides front-line customer service to students, employees, and the public.
• Cross-trains in library, learning lab, and tutoring duties; assists with clerical and technical tasks.
• Manages appointment scheduling, calendars, and inquiries; enforces space usage policies.
• Supports learning Commons operations, maker space tech, and equipment as needed.
