Job summary

Tarrant County College District (TCCD) Northwest Campus Learn Center seeks a Supplemental Instruction Specialist I to provide front-line customer service to students, staff, and the public. This part-time temporary role supports clerical, library, learning lab, and related duties across the Learning Commons.

Working hours vary and the position is not eligible for remote work. The incumbent will cross-train in multiple areas and assist with scheduling, materials management, and campus programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and one year of related experience.
• Preferred: at least one completed college course.
• Preferred: at least twelve undergraduate credits with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• An earned grade of a B or higher in a supported course in the Spring 2025 semester or later.

Responsibilities

• Provides front-line customer service to students, employees, and the public.
• Cross-train in multiple areas and assist with clerical, customer service, learning lab, library, and other duties.
• Oversees the front desk and assists in daily operations and administrative responsibilities of the Learning Commons.
• Assists with updating and maintaining the Library website and resources.
