Job summary

Alpha is seeking a Learning Coach to lead coaching for K-3 students and guide Guides in a high‑standard, coaching‑first culture. You’ll use data, observations, and feedback to drive measurable improvements while building playbooks that scale across campuses.

You’ll craft workshops, mentor Guides, and deliver one‑on‑one coaching in classrooms, staying directly connected with students and adults to raise outcomes and independence. This is a full‑time, in‑person role with relocation support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, Organizational Leadership, Child Development, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience with elementary-aged children (ages 5–9).
• Experience leading teams of five or more people, including performance management and hiring decisions.
• Experience building or growing a program, school, or initiative.
• Demonstrated success using data to improve team or student performance.

Responsibilities

• Coach Guides and students using performance data and observations to drive improvements.
• Facilitate workshops for K-3 focused on communication, resilience, collaboration, accountability, and focus.
• Lead one-on-one and small-group coaching to connect motivation with academic growth and independence.
• Build and refine coaching playbooks to raise performance across the Guide team.
• Train and mentor Guides while modeling coaching and facilitation daily.
