Job summary

Alpha is hiring a Learning Coach to work in person at a campus in New York City, NY or Miami, FL. You will own outcomes for a K-3 cohort, using data, observations, and coaching to ensure every child loves school and learns faster.

You will coach Guides and students, build repeatable playbooks, and mentor teams while delivering workshops on communication, resilience, and accountability. This is a hands-on, on-site role focused on people development and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• 5+ years’ experience working with elementary-aged children (ages 5-9).
• Experience leading teams of five or more and hiring decisions.

Responsibilities

• Coach both Guides and students toward measurable improvements using data and observations.
• Facilitate workshops for K-3 students focusing on communication, resilience, and life skills.
• Lead one-on-one and small-group coaching sessions linking motivation to academic growth.
• Build and refine playbooks to raise performance across the Guide team.
• Train and mentor Guides while modeling exceptional coaching daily.
