Job summary

The Regents of the University of California on behalf of their Los Angeles Campus, UCLA Residential Life, seeks a Learning Centers Coordinator to oversee operations at the Sunset Learning Center and related spaces. You will develop, implement and assess programs that boost academic success, wellness, creativity, and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication to prepare and deliver professional presentations.
• Ability to engage diverse audiences in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of residential life, student development, and community development.
• Budget monitoring and basic accounting principles.
• Experience planning large and small programs and events.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Learning Center operations, programs, events and resources.
• Coordinate large-scale initiatives like Bruin Day activations and events.
• Supervise student interns and provide onboarding and training.
• Build partnerships with campus departments to strengthen collaboration.
• Assess student interests and develop communications and resources.
• Support Maker Space, Gaming Lounge and other departmental initiatives.
