Job summary

UCLA is seeking a Learning Centers Coordinator within Residential Life to oversee the Sunset Learning Center, De Neve spaces, and related programs. You will manage events, train three student interns, and build partnerships with campus departments to enhance student academic success and community engagement.

The role emphasizes program development, cross-unit collaboration, and responsive services to UCLA students in on-campus housing.

Qualifications

Excellent written and verbal communication to facilitate meetings and presentations (Required)
Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations in high-volume settings (Required)
Knowledge of Residential Life, student development, and community development (Required)
Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and budgeting procedures (Required)
Ability to develop, plan, and manage large and small-scale programs and events (Required)
Ability to implement student-facing programs from start to finish (Required)

Responsibilities

Oversee Learning Center operations, programs, events, and resources.
Coordinate large-scale initiatives such as Concerts on the Hill and Bruin Day activations.
Supervise and provide onboarding/training for three student interns.
Develop communications and resources for UCLA residents.
Collaborate with campus departments, faculty, and Student Affairs teams.
Assess student interests and emerging trends related to study spaces and community engagement.
