Job summary

UCLA Extension in Los Angeles is seeking a Program Supervisor to provide supervisory, strategic, academic, and operational leadership for a defined portfolio of academic programs and certificates. Reporting to a Director, you will oversee staff, ensure academic excellence and operational efficiency, and align program delivery with workforce and community needs.

The role collaborates with Teaching & Learning, Marketing and Communications, Academic Advising and Student Success, and Enrollment

Qualifications

• 5+ years minimum experience in managing academic or professional education programs.
• Strong customer service orientation with professionalism, dignity, and respect.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to craft reports and marketing copy.
• Knowledge of curriculum development, adult learning theory, and educational operations.
• Analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Advanced project and time management; ability to handle shifting deadlines.
• Experience with marketing principles to support program promotion.
• Ability to work independently and with teams; accountability for results.
• Project leadership and coordination, onboarding instructors, cross-functional collaboration.
• Familiarity with accounting principles and university business policies (preferred).
