UNC Health Appalachian is seeking a Manager of The Learning Center & Inclusion in Boone to lead strategic learning initiatives across the organization and foster an inclusive culture. You will shape programs, partnerships, and processes that support employee growth and organizational readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, HR, Organizational Development, or related field is required; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in learning and development.
• Experience managing teams, budgets, and projects.
• Healthcare industry experience desirable.
• Certification in instructional design, training facilitation, or DEI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for the Learning Center aligned with goals.
• Oversee day-to-day Learning Center operations including scheduling and budget management.
• Partner with leaders to identify training needs and develop programs.
• Evaluate training effectiveness using feedback, tools, and metrics.
• Design and deliver a comprehensive professional development program for all employees.
• Coordinate workshops, seminars, and learning activities; provide coaching for career advancement.
