Job summary

Bryant & Stratton College Albany Campus is seeking a full-time Learning Center Coordinator to manage the Learning Center, recruit tutors, and coordinate testing and student support services. The role ensures compliance with college policies and fosters collaboration among students, faculty, and staff.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with admissions testing is helpful.
• Excellent customer service and ability to solve problems required.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; comfortable with learning new systems.
• Experience with Banner or other related student information systems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, meet deadlines, and build strong relationships with students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead proctor for all required entrance and proficiency tests (Accuplacer, TEAS) and record results.
• Daily announcements to team outlining next day testing locations, times, and participants.
• Order and maintain TEAS tests inventory.
• Coordinate testing schedule with admissions and faculty; ensure backup personnel as needed.
• Coordinate testing room setup and data entry of results; generate reports on testing trends.
• Recruit, hire, train tutors; set up faculty skills assistance, tutoring, and group sessions.
• Support faculty and administration in strategies addressing learning disabilities and other needs.
• Coordinate student Library Resources and collaborate with Systems Librarian.
• Other duties as assigned.
