Job summary

Vitally is seeking an Education Program Designer Contractor to build foundational customer education for our CS platform. You’ll design the learning architecture, create programs and certifications, and personally produce the first wave of content for CS professionals focused on renewals, retention, and adoption.

You’ll collaborate with Product, Support, Marketing, and CS, shaping role-based paths, assessment design, and scalable, repeatable processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in instructional or learning design for external customers.
• Experience designing customer education for a new product or major platform change at a SaaS company.
• Strong adult learning fundamentals: backwards design, clear objectives, and assessment design.
• Learning architecture skills: role-based paths, sequencing, and certification or badging.
• Hands-on building with authoring tools, video and short-form content, and an LMS tool.

Responsibilities

• Design learning pathways for a widening range of learners by role and by customer stage.
• Teach Customer Success and help CS teams renew, retain, and reduce churn with education.
• Build programs and certifications in collaboration with Product, Support, and CS teams.
• Create engaging content across e-learning, interactive courses, and video you script and edit.
• Own the instructional design lifecycle from needs analysis to assessment and impact evaluation.
• Develop reusable workflows, templates, and quality standards to improve speed and outcomes.
• Hand off a documented operating model to keep the program current.
