Job summary

Bay State Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Services (BSVESS) in Swansea, MA seeks a Learning & Development Coordinator who is a trained Veterinary Technician with a passion for teaching. You will mentor technicians, lead onboarding, and develop training materials while remaining clinically active in emergency care.

You will partner with hospital leadership to identify learning needs, support staff growth, and deliver hands-on training across triage, anesthesia, ICU nursing, and critical care.

Qualifications

• CV or equivalent veterinary technician experience.
• 5+ years of veterinary experience, preferably in emergency and critical care.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and mentorship abilities.
• Previous training, leadership, or mentoring experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Bay State Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Services is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team as a Learning & Development Coordinator. This unique role combines hands‑on patient care with mentorship, training, and professional development of veterinary assistants and technicians in our fast‑paced emergency and specialty hospital.

What You'll Do

  • Non-credentialed Techs: $23 to $29
  • Credentialed Techs: $25 to $31
