Job summary

WVU Potomac State College is seeking a Learn and Earn Coordinator to lead the development and expansion of work‑based learning opportunities that connect students with employers through paid placements. You will serve as the primary liaison for agreements, partnerships, and program activities while collaborating with academic leaders to align experiences with curricula.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline such as business administration, communications, education, marketing, human resources, workforce development, higher education administration, organizational leadership, or a related field.
• Two years of professional experience in employer recruitment, presenting to professional audiences, higher education, workforce development, career services, or program coordination.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary contact for Learn and Earn programs, agreements, partnerships, and related activities at WVU Potomac State College.
• Develops and maintains relationships with regional employers and community stakeholders to expand Learn and Earn opportunities.
• Recruits employers and identifies student placement opportunities based on workforce needs and student interests.
• Communicates Learn and Earn requirements and benefits to employers, students, faculty, and administrators.
• Coordinates Learn and Earn agreements and related documentation between WVU Potomac State College, students, and employer partners.
• Educates and recruits students for Learn and Earn opportunities and assists with understanding program requirements and responsibilities.
• Monitors student participation and maintains records of engagement and program completion.
• Maintains systems for tracking progress, employer participation, and program data.
• Plans employer open houses, recruitment events, and informational sessions to increase participation.
• Develops presentations and informational materials for employers, students, faculty, administrators, and community stakeholders.
