Job summary

Westover Job Corps Center seeks a Work Based Learning Coordinator to plan and manage the work-based learning program, build community relations, and ensure compliance with DOL, PRH, and Center requirements.

Responsibilities include developing policies for WBL, recruiting and monitoring students, coordinating site agreements, coordinating transportation, and training staff to deliver high‑quality on‑the‑job training across all work sites.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of local career and technical education opportunities.
• Two years' experience with job development and placement; supervisory experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and markets the work-based learning (WBL) program per DOL and Center requirements.
• Recruits, enrolls, and monitors students in the WBL programs.
• Coordinates transportation of students to work sites and ensures documentation (TARs, time sheets) is completed.
• Trains WBL supervisors and ensures safety and OSHA compliance across sites.
