Job summary

Safran Seats, North America operations in Texas, is seeking a skilled operations professional to oversee inbound material receiving, supplier oversight, and lean process execution within a dynamic supply chain environment.

You will drive continuous improvement, implement storage and logistics optimizations, and lead a team to meet OTD, quality, and inventory targets while aligning with HSE standards and PFEP-based inventory strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent (6 years) related experience.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in Manufacturing Operations, Engineering, Quality or Supply Chain.
• 3+ years experience in a lean manufacturing environment.
• Practical application experience of continuous improvement warehousing, logistics, or operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain highest safety in all areas and promote a culture of safety.
• Align receiving and receiving inspection to ensure timely movement of material.
• Manage supplier assessments to evaluate compliance and process control.
• Develop metrics to support and manage supply chain performance (OTD, kit quality, inventory accuracy).
• Develop storage environment parameters; synchronize physical and logistical flow.
• Lead One Safran Lean initiatives (Kanban, Min-Max, VMI) using PFEP and ABC classifications.
