Job summary

Industrial Metal Supply is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead warehouse floor personnel, ensure safety and quality, and optimize production flows. The role involves coaching staff, coordinating with management, and maintaining efficient operations on the shift.

Qualifications

• Exercising independent judgement and decision making based on standard policy or working procedures.
• Strong understanding of Continuous Improvement and lean tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse floor personnel with daily planning and execution.
• Coach and mentor team members to improve performance and safety.
• Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices and lean practices; maintain safe and productive workflows.
• Coordinate with Warehouse Manager to optimize layout, materials flow, and throughput.
• Maintain safety, quality, and training standards; address equipment and facility maintenance as needed.
• Monitor timekeeping and breaks; ensure compliance with company policies.
