Job summary

Industrial Metal Supply (IMS) in San Jose, CA seeks a Second Shift Supervisor to lead warehouse personnel, manage daily production plans, and ensure safety and quality standards. You will coach teams, monitor performance, and drive process improvements with the Warehouse Manager.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, safety enforcement, equipment upkeep, and boosting throughput while upholding IMS’s Lean practices and high-quality outputs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing production and regulatory compliance to ensure safety and cleanliness standards.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coach, and mentor team members for excellent performance and safety.
• Evaluate staffing needs and manage safety, teambuilding, and policy adherence.
• Inspect areas for safety and cleanliness in line with GMP and Lean practices.
• Utilize equipment, manpower, and materials efficiently to maximize productivity.
• Maintain a safe work environment through daily checks and compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with Warehouse Manager to optimize layout and workflow for throughput.
