Job summary

The Pivot Group Network is partnering with Lansing-based manufacturers to identify experienced Warehouse Managers. This role focuses on overseeing daily operations, optimizing inventory control, and leading a team to ensure safe, efficient material flow and on-time order fulfillment.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in warehouse management, a strong grasp of lean practices, and experience with WMS/ERP systems.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in warehouse management within a manufacturing environment.
Proven track record of improving inventory accuracy and reducing carrying costs.
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience with WMS and ERP software.
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse personnel.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping of raw materials and finished goods.
Implement and maintain inventory control systems to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
Manage and develop a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, performance management, and scheduling.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards within the warehouse.
Optimize warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and space utilization.
Collaborate with production, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure timely material flow and order fulfillment.
