The Pivot Group Network is partnering with Byron Center, MI to identify a seasoned Warehouse Manager who can lead daily warehouse operations, drive efficiency, and mentor staff. This role emphasizes safety, inventory accuracy, and strong coordination with production and procurement to prevent stockouts.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in warehouse roles, proficiency with WMS and ERP systems, and a track record of implementing lean improvements.

Qualifications

5+ years in warehouse operations, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team of warehouse personnel.
Proficient in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
Strong understanding of inventory management principles, logistics, and supply chain processes.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, and shipping of raw materials and finished goods.
Develop and implement warehouse procedures and policies to optimize efficiency, safety, and inventory accuracy.
Manage and mentor a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, performance reviews, and scheduling.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and procurement to ensure timely availability of materials and minimize stockouts.
Implement and maintain a robust inventory management system, conducting regular cycle counts and reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards within the warehouse environment.
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse productivity, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
