Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies in Fontana, CA seeks a warehouse leader to oversee several functions in the distribution center, guiding up to 9 direct reports and handling about 650 inbound and outbound lines per day.

You will champion Lean practices, ensure safety and compliance, drive process standardization, monitor KPIs and partner with vendors to optimize packaging and logistics while delivering exceptional service to Service Centers and customers.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years warehouse or distribution experience.
• Ability to lead, coach and develop associates.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
• SAP and WMS experience preferred.
• Lean background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple warehouse functions in the distribution center.
• Ensure safety compliance with laws and company rules.
• Direct and develop up to 9 direct reports.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with vendors on packaging and logistics.
• Ensure accurate order fulfillment and on-time shipping.
• Lead standardization of processes and data.
• Oversee staffing, timesheets and vacations.
