Job summary

Tenneco Inc. is seeking a seasoned Value Stream Manager to lead the Value Stream team at the Manitowoc plant. You’ll drive safety, delivery, quality and cost targets while coordinating budgets and resources to meet customer requirements.

The role requires lean manufacturing expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to coach supervisors, plan resources, and implement KPIs across the value stream. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and seven years of manufacturing experience, with OEM

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or related field.
7+ years manufacturing experience with leadership roles.
Lean manufacturing experience with continuous improvement.
Experience in OEM automotive or diesel powertrain preferred.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with staff to make plant-level decisions.
Lead all employees assigned to the Value Stream.
Develop strategies and budgets to hit safety, delivery, quality, and cost goals.
Implement and monitor safe work practices; achieve safety metrics.
Meet productivity targets and manage labor flexing.
Ensure delivery targets and cost objectives are met.
Deploy policy, 5S, KPI systems; mentor employees.
Ensure new product launches follow required processes and timelines.
Oversee training and development objectives; uphold company policies.
