Job summary

EnerSys Energy Products Inc is seeking a Lean Coordinator to support the EOS transformation across manufacturing regions. You will drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cycle times while collaborating with plant teams to remove obstacles.

Responsibilities include value stream mapping, standard work ownership, and leading rapid improvement events to sustain operational excellence. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience.
  • Demonstrated Lean thinking and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Execute against long- and short-term objectives to support EOS goals.
  • Work with plant personnel to identify, address, and eliminate process obstacles.
  • Assist in changing systems/processes to support EOS initiatives.
  • Learn value stream mapping techniques to optimize information, material, and production flow.
  • Act as a change agent to lead improvements through Rapid Improvement Events; own pre and post standard work, facilitate projects, participate in MDI gemba walks.
  • Help update and maintain visual performance tools, including mission control and MDI boards.
  • Conduct cycle time analyses, time studies, work balance/flow improvements, and workplace analysis.
  • Develop efficient use of people, machines, materials, information, and energy.
