Hitachi Energy USA Inc. in South Boston, Virginia is seeking an Integrated Lean Systems Specialist to advance our Lean transformation across the value chain.

You will strengthen the global Lean management system, improve process performance, and drive improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Cost. You’ll lead Kaizen events, coach teams, and partner with functions to raise Lean maturity while ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in engineering, business, or related field.
• 2+ years in Lean systems, continuous improvement, manufacturing, engineering, or process improvement.
• Experience with major Lean systems (Toyota, Danaher, Honeywell) is advantageous.
• Lean/Six Sigma certifications (Lean Practitioner, Green Belt) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support ITM system development and deployment.
• Partner across functions to advance Lean maturity and daily management.
• Lead Kaizen events and process improvement initiatives.
• Drive KPI optimization using ITM tools and methods.
• Own and deliver cost-out projects and coach others in execution.
• Train and mentor employees to strengthen Lean capabilities.
• Model safety, integrity, and accountability in all activities.
