Job summary

Chemours is seeking a Lean Transformation Leader for the Johnsonville, TN site to drive continuous improvement across all value streams. You will lead kaizen events, mentor teams, and use data analytics to identify gaps and implement strategic improvements.

The role requires a 10+ year chemical manufacturing background with 5 years in Lean, plus strong leadership and problem-solving skills. Safety, sustainability, and operational excellence are central to the position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related technical field.
• 10+ years of chemical manufacturing experience with 5 of those years implementing Lean methodologies.
• 10+ years of experience in operational leadership.
• Experience leading Tier Daily Management, A3 problem solving, Value Stream Mapping, and Kaizen events to improve operational performance.
• Technical & Analytical Capability: Ability to analyze data, develop recommendations, present findings, and train others on Lean tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead site continuous improvement efforts and kaizen events aligned with the Chemours Business System.
• Coach site employees in lean methodologies and tools for development and sustained value.
• Use data analytics and Power BI to identify gaps and drive improvement plans.
• Educate site personnel and develop sustainable expertise across the organization.
• Drive strategic planning, milestones, and reporting for improvement initiatives.
• Support value stream operations to reduce waste and improve OEE, quality, and cost metrics.
