Chemours is seeking a Manufacturing Technology Engineer to join our Technology team at the New Johnsonville, TN site. The role reports to the Manufacturing Technology Manager and focuses on engineering support for daily operations, process improvements, and safety reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited institution in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience (co-op/internship included).
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support to the manufacturing area operations, including daily monitoring of the process and troubleshooting.
• Lead and/or participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance area performance.
• Participate in Process Safety Management (PSM) activities such as PHA reviews, PSSR, Mechanical Integrity, and other safety reviews.
• Provide engineering expertise on mixing systems, filtration, drying technologies, bulk solids handling and related processes.
• Initiate Management of Change (MOC) to improve safety, quality, environment, and cost.
• Support capital projects and ensure equipment meets process requirements and uptime targets.
