Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a Leader in Continuous Improvement at its US Aerostructures site. You will lead Lean initiatives, drive transformation plans, and mentor future practitioners to boost productivity and quality across manufacturing operations.

The role requires a engineering/operations/business background with 2+ years in continuous improvement, plus expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and data analysis to drive cross-functional results. A proactive, collaborative leader is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, business, or a related discipline.
• At least two (2) years of experience in continuous improvement, process optimization, or operations management.
• Proficiency with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement methodologies; strong data analysis and problem solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and influence the development and implementation of Lean business practices across the organization to enhance growth, productivity, and quality.
• Partner with site leadership to implement the company’s Lean Enterprise system and ensure best practices in processes, systems, and customer service.
• Develop, execute, and maintain transformation plans, including leading kaizen events, knowledge sharing, and mentoring future Lean practitioners.
• Analyze business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to optimize workflows, reduce waste, and enhance operational performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of process improvements and monitor progress.
• Deliver coaching and training on Lean principles, continuous improvement tools, and problem-solving techniques.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovative ideas and proactive problem-solving among employees.
