Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a Leader, Operations in Bombardier US Aerostruct LLC to oversee manufacturing teams in a fast-paced environment. You will direct work assignments, enforce safety and quality standards, and drive performance against production schedules and budgets.

This role requires strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills, with experience in lean manufacturing and union environments preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Manufacturing experience
• 2+ years leadership/supervisory or lead experience
• Strong interpersonal skills to work across all levels
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities to develop teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience training employees and coordinating workloads
• Budget control experience and timekeeping management
• Experience with electronic work instructions and lean manufacturing (belt) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Establish work assignments for subordinates and oversee scheduling
• Conduct required meetings and enforce company rules and attendance policy
• Enforce CBA interpretation and compliance
• Perform supervisory duties including hiring, discipline and development
• Monitor production status against schedules and quality goals
• Create corrective actions and recovery plans when needed
• Coordinate cross-functionally to support schedule success
• Manage staffing to align with budget and production requirements
• Ensure training on equipment and OSHA requirements
