Job summary

Axillon Aerospace in California is seeking an Operational Excellence Specialist to drive site continuous improvement initiatives and measure process performance. You will lead Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping, and Lean projects to develop sustainable, repeatable improvements across manufacturing processes.

You will train staff on continuous improvement tools, analyze data to identify opportunities, and support safe production practices while upholding Axillon Operating System principles.

Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen events, and continuous improvement techniques.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement and Six Sigma methodology.
• Change Management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leadcontinuous improvement projects such as Kaizen events and Value Stream Mapping.
• Analyze, measure and report the effectiveness of manufacturing processes.
• Train employees in continuous improvement tools and techniques.
• Provide expertise when recommending solutions and implementing corrective actions.
• Participate in evaluating new technologies to support engineering processes.
• Help maintain a safe production environment.
• Apply Axillon Operating System lean principles in daily work.
