Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. seeks a Strategic Lean Transformation leader to guide World Class Lean implementations across aerospace manufacturing operations in a global matrix environment.

You will build and lead a skilled team of Manufacturing Engineers, drive CPI initiatives, and deliver measurable productivity gains in forging, machining, grinding, and thread rolling. Candidates should have 7–10 years in manufacturing operations, a proven Lean/Six Sigma background, and the ability to influence

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or industrial technology with 7–10 years in manufacturing operations.
• Proven expertise in lean principles and improvements.
• Experience with demand flow principles and Six-Sigma methodology.
• Work history in international, matrix organizations.
• Strong project leadership and cross-cultural influence across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to drive Lean transformation across Forging, Machining, Grinding and Thread Roll processes.
• Lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers to improve productivity and process capability.
• Develop and manage capital equipment, budgets, and installation projects.
• Drive waste reduction, labor cost improvements and process standardization.
• Collaborate with production, quality, product engineering and support teams to deliver improvements.
• Mentor technical staff to sustain CPI and quality goals.
