Job summary

Ideal Fasteners, Inc. is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager in Anaheim, CA to drive operational excellence through Lean, continuous improvement, and performance management. You will coach leaders, lead Kaizen events, map value streams, and partner with site leadership to reduce waste and boost productivity.

The role requires strong facilitation, analytical, and leadership skills with travel as needed; experience across multi-site manufacturing environments and automation is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field; equivalent experience.
• 7+ years manufacturing, operations, Lean, or continuous improvement experience.
• Proven Lean transformation leadership and Kaizen facilitation experience.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, metrics, and KPI scorecards.
• Experience partnering with plant leadership and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with General Manager and site leadership to identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead Lean initiatives focusing on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and engagement.
• Facilitate Kaizen events and value stream mapping sessions.
• Collaborate with engineers to implement process improvements and automation.
• Develop site-specific improvement roadmaps and standardize best practices.
• Analyze KPIs to identify trends and drive sustained gains.
• Coach leaders on Lean principles and problem-solving methodologies.
• Implement Lean systems (5S, Standard Work, Visual Management) and track progress.
• Prepare progress updates and performance metrics for senior leadership.
