Job summary

MW Components seeks a Continuous Improvement Leader to drive operational excellence across multiple manufacturing sites. You will deploy Lean, CI, and performance management methods, coaching leaders and teams to achieve measurable results.

This highly collaborative, travel-intensive role partners with the Automation Engineer and site leadership to identify and implement improvements that boost safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, plus 7+ years manufacturing/operations/Lean/continuous improvement experience.
  • Experience leading Lean transformation or operational excellence initiatives.
  • Facilitation of Kaizen events and process improvement projects.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to support multiple locations.
  • Experience in multi-site manufacturing environments.
  • Experience supporting automation.
  • Experience implementing operational management systems and KPI scorecards.
  • Prior leadership or management experience.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to coach leaders and frontline teams through transformation.
  • Experience developing sustainable operating systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Power BI, and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with General Managers and site leadership to evaluate performance and identify CI opportunities.
  • Lead Lean manufacturing initiatives focusing on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and engagement.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events and value stream mapping sessions across sites.
  • Collaborate with Automation Engineer to identify automation opportunities for productivity gains.
  • Develop and execute site-specific operational improvement roadmaps.
  • Drive standardization of best practices, methods, and processes.
  • Analyze KPIs to identify trends and bottlenecks.
  • Coach plant leadership on Lean principles and problem-solving.
  • Implement and sustain Lean systems (5S, Standard Work, Visual Management, Kaizen).
  • Set measurable targets and track project results.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to sustain gains and replication across locations.
  • Promote accountability and continuous improvement culture.
  • Present progress updates to senior leadership.
