Job summary

nVent is seeking a senior-level Lean/Continuous Improvement leader to champion and deploy lean manufacturing and business processes across our Engineered Building Solutions unit. The role leads site practitioners, trains teams, and acts as a lean SME to drive data-driven kaizen events and transformational projects.

Travel about 35% and work from our Houston, TX; Madison, WI; or Oshkosh, WI locations. A BS in Operations Management or related field and 12+ years of CI/lean experience are required;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management or related field.
• 12+ years business process or manufacturing continuous improvement experience in a lean environment.
• Engineered to order environment experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated skills in implementing, instructing and deploying Lean Methodologies in Manufacturing, Distribution and Transactional applications; six sigma certification preferred.
• Knowledge of process improvement concepts and methods; adaptable to new processes in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to influence all levels in a highly matrixed organization.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel ~35% and work out of Houston, Madison, or Oshkosh locations.

Responsibilities

• Be a visible lean leader for our Engineered Building Solutions (EBS) business by championing lean processes and methodologies.
• Shape future lean strategy and deploy long-term improvement programs across sites.
• Lead and mentor site lean practitioners and train teams in lean transformation.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert on lean topics for the unit.
• Lead data-driven projects and kaizen events to drive meaningful transformation.
• Own and elevate lean metrics and dashboards with clear definitions and KPIs.
