Job summary

nVent is seeking a Lean Specialist to drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations in Minnesota. You will train, coach, and empower process owners to adopt Lean tools and sustain gains in efficiency and cost reduction.

You will lead projects, analyze production methods, and share best practices while aligning with our global operations. A Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of lean experience are required, with strong communication skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Engineering or related field preferred.
• 2+ years manufacturing/lean experience.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing concepts and practices.
• Knowledge of process improvement concepts and methods.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing business environments.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, and challenge process owners in lean tools and techniques to create sustainable management systems.
• Facilitate team use of Lean Tools (Kaizen, 5S, Standard Work, PDCA, etc.).
• Lead projects to ensure on-time delivery and quality using internal and external resources.
• Investigate and analyze production methods to identify improvements that drive efficiency and reduce waste.
• Share and implement best practices across the organization.
• Use data to quantify financial savings from improvements.
