Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a Continuous Improvement Lead to guide OE thinking across DC operations. The role involves influencing OE analysts and managers, leading and executing improvement projects, and coaching teams to adopt lean methods.

Strong data analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and change management are essential. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years in continuous improvement, with Lean/Six Sigma preferred; field ops in industrial distribution

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• 3–5 years in continuous improvement, data analysis, and/or project management, with preference for Lean, Six Sigma, or other OpEx platforms.
• Field Operations: detailed experience in industrial distribution operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Key Metrics Alignment: Understand and communicate metrics to drive world-class results across DCs.
• Project Management: Lead projects and coordinate resources; implement measurement systems.
• Data Analysis: Analyze transactional data to identify opportunities and root causes.
• Coaching: Mentor OE Analysts to ensure engagement and accountability.
• Leadership: Drive site/regional leaders toward consistent results across locations.
• Communication: Report progress to senior management with clarity.
• Thought Leadership: Propose improvements to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
