Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies seeks a Continuous Improvement Lead (DC Operations) to guide Lean and Safety thinking across distribution centers, influencing OE analysts and DC managers, while leading and executing projects.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years in CI, data analysis, and project management, with Lean/Six Sigma experience preferred. SAP & EWM familiarity is a plus. On-site position in Carlisle, PA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required in a related field.
• 3–5 years in continuous improvement, data analysis, and/or project management; Lean, Six Sigma, or other OpEx platforms preferred.
• Field operations experience in an industrial distribution context is a plus.
• Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills; strong interpersonal and communication abilities; committed to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Align key metrics with site and regional leadership to drive world-class performance.
• Manage projects and resources; implement measurement systems at daily/weekly/monthly intervals.
• Analyze transactional data to identify root causes and opportunities for improvement.
• Coach OE Analysts and focus resources on impactful projects.
• Lead site and regional leaders to ensure consistent results across locations.
• Communicate progress and outcomes to senior management.
• Provide thought leadership on improvements to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
